KROKUS Announce New Drummer
January 18, 2006KROKUS frontman Marc Storace has posted the following message on the band's official web site:
"The first week of the new year brought us a new drummer by the name of Stefan Schwarzmann [ex-ACCEPT, U.D.O., HELLOWEEN]. He nicely rounds up the missing link in our rhythm section in time for the new album recordings. It didn't take us very long to realize that Stefan must be the man! The songs we jammed out simply sounded like wildfire! The adrenaline rush came with a loud kick, precise rolls and double bass drum patterns adding climax and drive! The rest is all a matter of practice and routine. Now we're already working on some final arrangements of the first batch of songs destined for the new album, and there's a lot more where those came from. It's really great to have such a large choice!"
As previously reported, KROKUS will be embarking on a tour of Germany in May following the release of their new studio album. Support at all dates will come from AXXIS. Confirmed dates are as follows:

May 06 - Tuttlingen, GER - Alte Fabrik
May 07 - Ludwigsburg, GER - Rockfabrik

May 13 - Andernach, GER - Live Club
KROKUS's follow-up to 2003's "Rock the Block" is tentatively due this spring/summer. The group's current lineup includes frontman Marc Storace, Mandy Meyer (guitar),Dominique Fave (guitar) and Tony Castell (bass).
